Who Is Luz Zeagler?

Luz Zeagler, owner of Zeagler’s College Connection, assists high school students and their parents with the college search and planning process.  Luz has over 20 years experience in the education arena, a number of which were spent as a college counselor, working with students to advise them on course selection, transfers to the 4 year university setting, major selection, and career assessment.  She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology with a counseling specialty. from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  As a college counselor one of her specialities was career advising.  Helping students with their career choices was one of her areas of expertise.  She is also actively involved in her community by serving on the board of the El Dorado Hills Community Visions, Inc. (CVI).  Additionally,  she volunteer in various capacities in her community as well as provide sponsorships at various events in the area schools and other community events and causes.  She follows the Principles of Good Practice as outlined by the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). She is a graduate of the Practices & Principles Institute of the IECA and currently is an Associate member of IECA. The college possibilities are endless due to her visiting colleges & universities all over the USA. She also keeps current by attending national and state conferences.
